Basic macro files

-----------------



agu2001.cls   Basic macro file, used with LaTeX2e, 

                                    \documentclass[<journame>]{agu2001}



agu2001.sty   Basic macro file, used with LaTeX2.09, 

                                     \documentstyle[<journame>]{agu2001}



agu-ps.sty    PostScript font file. You will probably need to edit this

              file to enter the PS font names found on your system. Look

              at the top of the file for info on how to easily change

              the font names.





Template and Sample files

-------------------------

template_2e.tex  Template file, for authors to use in making their own 

              article. There are also sample commands at the end of

              the file for an easy review of all you need to know about

              typesetting your article.



sample.tex   Sample file, showing different title page styles, other

              commands unique to this package, and may be used with

              the draft and galley option.





Inserting .eps files

--------------------

graphics.zip  Graphics files, includeing graphicx.sty, used for

                including .eps files.



figsamp.tex   Figure sample file, showing the use of the graphicx.sty

              commands for inserting .eps files; landscape tables and

              figures, in a single column and in a full page. Also 

              shows \begin{filecontents*}{<filename>} in use, a method

              of inserting .eps or .bbl files into your .tex file. These

              files will be written to the current directory the first time 

              that LaTeX is run on the file, making an easy way to send

              in your article and all additional files in one .tex file.
