Babson 14 hull repairs

Matt J & I helped Dave L repair the holes punched in his Babson 14 when it was blown off a bluff in Grindstone Harbor. Epoxying 3-6mm plywood patches on the inside of the holes worked well after sanding down the vicinity.

A few screws were used to hold things in place while the System Three Silvertip epoxy with fast hardener cured up.  A mistake was not pulling the screws when the glue was still tacky… ended up having to use vicegrips and damaged some of the surrounding ply getting the screw(heads) out.
