Description: Very old cemetery. Markers are of all shapes & materials. Older stones appear to be sandstone and later ones granite and marble. Many large stones identifying family plots. Stones are in fairly regular rows. One paved road, but mostly gravel & grass.

Comments: Fencing & entrances on both Darnestown & Hunter Roads. Many trees in older sections; newer sections have few trees but are well landscaped & maintained. Monocacy Chapel is a rusticated concrete block building on Hunter Road.
